"Play Yer Piano" ™ & ©
In Netscape Navigator 3+/4+, when the page first loads, a full scale plays up and down — with the respective key on the keyboad depressed and released, the respecitve staff note highlighted in red, and the note's name appearing in the "Note name" box at the top of the page.

Similarly. when you point on a white or black key on the keyboard or to a note on the staff, that tone plays, the staff note highlights in red, and the note's name appears in the same "Note name" box. (In Internet Explorer 4+, only the staff notes respond in this way.)

To repeat the first half of the opening scale sound and animation (in Netscape, only), you just point to the "Note name" box. To repeat the last half of the opening scale sound and animation (in Netscape, only), you move the pointer away from the "Note name" box.

The "Scale up" megaphone icon plays an unanimated, fast upward scale; the "Scale down" megaphone icon plays an unanimated, fast downward scale; and the "Full scale" icon plays an unanimated, moderate scale up and down.

In Netscape, the "Animate scale" megaphone shows the scale on the keyboard only, and the "Full scale" megaphone/moviecam icon combo replays the entire opening scale sound and animation, up and down.

When you're done, click "Curtain" to "bow out" (that is, to exit).
